* March Empire State Manufacturing Index
* February capacity utilization and industrial production reports
* GTx Inc. (GTXI),
* Medivation Inc. (MDVN),
* Sequenom Inc. (SQNM) will release earnings.

Tuesday

* February’s building permits, export prices and housing starts,
* Monetary policy decision by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).
* Cypress Bioscience Inc. (CYPB),
* DSW Inc. (DSW),
* AMBAC Financial Group Inc. (ABK),
* Discover Financial Services (DFS) are scheduled to release earnings.

Wednesday

* U.S. petroleum supplies report
* Producer Price Index (PPI) and the core PPI.
* Actuant Corp. (ATU),
* Guess? Inc. (GES),
* NIKE Inc. (NKE) will report earnings.

Thursday

* The PPI’s companion report, the consumer price index (CPI), as well as the core CPI reading,
* Weekly jobless claims,
* February’s leading economic indicators,
* Philadelphia Fed’s manufacturing index for March.
* FedEx Corp. (FDX),
* GameStop Corp. (GME),
* Ross Stores Inc. (ROST),
* Palm Inc. (PALM) are all scheduled to report earnings.

Friday

* A rare Friday when there are no economic or earnings reports to be released.
