WINFIELD APPLIES FOR REVOCATION OF CEASE TRADE ORDERS

Winfield Resources Limited (“Winfield”) (WWF.H:TSXV) announced today that it has filed an application pursuant to National Policy 12-202 with each of the British Columbia Securities Commission (“BCSC”) and the Alberta Securities Commission (“ASC”) to have their cease trade orders revoked. The applications included paper filings of Winfield’s annual audited financial statements and the Management Discussion & Analysis (“MD&A”) for the year ended December 31, 2007 and its interim financial statements and MD&A for the periods ending March 31, 2008, June 30, 2008 and September 30, 2008. Winfield will file its financial statements and MD&A via SEDAR as soon as advised to do so by the BCSC and ASC.
